My apartments for vacation, an offer with rarity value: Area for two families in one house.

Friedrichshafen-Manzell is not overcrowded by tourists. It is situated not directly at the lake, but in a distance of about 400 m.

Manzell is a civil settlement, built in the 30th near the small village Fischbach. It has a good infrastructure: Churches, opportunities for shopping, physicians, good linking to the city of Friedrichshafen and the region, a short way to bathing beach, beautiful leisure area at the lake and to the yachting port. Most houses of Manzell have a 500 until 1,000 m² large garden areas (a building design of the late 30th years). So the house is build in the same way.

The house is limited by the Dornierstraße (name of a road) and on the back of the Buchenbachweg (name of a passage). Our house is situated about 15 m far from the road separated by a high hedge. The Buchenbachweg is a zone for pedestrians and limited traffic I live in the ground floor of the house, the vacation lodges are in the first and second floor (in the attic).

Each lodge has a size of about 65 m². An image and further information of our house as well as the housing plans is seen in the appendix of this description. The lodges are modernized during the last years and have sound and thermal protection. The house is provided with a strong thermal insulation (10 cm). In the hot summer months you will feel the room climate as pleasant. From the lodge in the attic you have a splendid view over the Lake of Konstanz, to the border of Switzerland and the Alps. In the morning sun shines into the rooms, on evening you have the experiences of the sunset over the lake. In each lodge you find party games, a book collection about our homeland, and especially: actual information about leisure activities and facts about the lake and the environment, with maps, descriptions, recommendations and costs. Some prepared excursions, tested by me and my guests, will be useful for you.

In the kitchen everything is available inclusive a dishwasher (dish towel and cleaning product are available too). Also salt, vinegar, oil, spices and an emergency food supply for late guests. Herbs can be found in the garden. Some towels are included but no slippers. A washing machine is available in the cellar free of charge.

The lodges will be tested regularly by an independent institute and are decorated with category "three stars" also in this year.

The house is situated in the middle of a large garden (1000 m²). Lawns, trees and sun place, a small vegetable garden with fresh garden herbs for your kitchen, as well as a car-park are available on the area.

A covered pergola can be used as a leisure area, whereby you can become acquainted with us and also our nice neighbours. A big kiwi plant (about 250 -300 kiwis) protects the pergola.

You have a covered bicycle parking area and a lockable appliance box (small garden house) at your disposal.

A large fenced pond with gold fish and sea-roses is an eye-catching. Children can use a covered clean sand box and a swing.

Your bicycles could be placed in a lockable garage.

Distance to the baker: 100 m (opened starting from 7 o'clock). Distance to the shopping centre: 500 m. Distance to the bus stops for Friedrichshafen or Meersburg and/or Ueberlingen and Konstanz: 200 m. Railway station is located in a distance of 200 m.

The footpath to the lake, to the nature beach or to the free leisure facility at the lake takes only 12-15 minutes, with the bicycle: 3 minutes.

For the heated public pool and bathing beach of Fischbach I have some free tickets for you. You can reach Friedrichshafen by walking at the bank way (1 hour).

Since years the charge is stable: 50, - euro. The charge refers to the whole lodge per night for two guests, each further person increase the charge for 8,- euro. Renting should begin (if possible) at weekend with a duration of one week. The renting charge includes the final cleaning. Further costs, like cure tax etc. do not arise for you.
